For those new to meditation or those with long experience, this workshop will focus on how to embark on or “un-stick” your mindfulness practice. The Buddha intended meditation to be pleasurable and this class explores how to establish what he called “ease” in our contemplative practice.
Kobai Scott Whitney is spiritual director of Plum Mountain Refuge and a long-time chaplain and meditation instructor. He is author of “Sitting Inside: Buddhist Practice in American Prisons” and the forthcoming “Heart Open; Mouth Shut: The Twelve Steps of Buddhism.”
